About Us
Custom Roll Out Shelves, LLC was created in January of 2014 by Michele, Davis & Burki (above) Templeton. After spending 20 plus years across the US in the biopharmaceutical industry ultimately at the C Suite executive level, Davis and Michele returned to Fort Mill, SC to care for Davis’s 93 year old father.
While looking for a business to purchase or create which would offer them the flexibility to provide his care, they recognized a need to improve his access to items in his kitchen cabinets. Upon further market research, they confirmed a broad based need in the growing Charlotte area for roll out shelves in both new and existing homes and businesses.
People want better organization and more storage space without having to expand the size of their footprint, and ease of access becomes important in their senior years.
To top it all off, Davis also spent 5 years with a major player in the Charlotte market, ShelfGenie, where he was consistently one of their top designers nationally and #1 in the Charlotte region.
And most importantly, Michele, Davis & Burki got Davis's Dad to almost 101 years old living in his home of 46 years by himself!!
